The Assignment
The client required a 2D animation to enrich their presence at a fair in Germany. The animation should have been made in a way that it could be used in corporate and commercial presentations and editable in many ways, from languages to colours and/or graphic elements as well.
The Solution
I’ve chosen KeyNote as platform for designing and developing the animation. Its easy-to-use interface and intuitive tools make it so that such an assignment can be done in a little bit more than a day of work, and the output is a file which can be edited anytime and exported in all most common formats (Quicktime Movie, PDF, Images, Power Point). Thanks to Final Cut Pro X I could also manage to add a soundtrack to the animation and also produce a video loop with other 2 sequences the client provided.

Delivery
The fair in Stuttgart was a success!
Good Looking on Screen
Simple and elegant, the animation and the video-loop integrated perfectly with the stand’s design and the fair’s visual theme.
Getting Visitors Involved
Visitors were engaged by the visualization’s dynamics and by the clearness of the explanation, feeding their interest just enough to empower them to place pertinent questions to the stand’s staff.
Cost Effective Solution
The kind of technical choice allowed us to keep the design and editing costs pretty low, in order to not influence the already relevant budget of the fair’s participation.
- Complexity Level 20%
- Resources Usage 10%
- Technical Rendition 80%
- Cost Effectiveness 95%
The Results Were Amazing
In this case like in many others, I could follow the entire process from concept design to design, post-production and delivery. I could easily manage to make every single deadline with a degree of anticipation that allowed the client to evaluate the result and eventually suggest edits or modifications without endangering the final delivery.
